  • 500 grams tofu
  • tablespoons olive oil
  •  For the sauce:
  • tablespoons peanut butter
  • tablespoons soy sauce
  • tablespoon sambal oelek (or less if you don't like it spicy)
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • clove of garlic, minced
  • lime, juiced

Zubereitung

  1. 1 Cut the tofu into cubes and pat dry with kitchen paper.
  2. 2 Heat the oil in a pan and fry the tofu cubes on all sides until golden brown and crispy. This takes about 10 minutes. Set aside.
  3. 3 For the sauce, mix the peanut butter, soy sauce, sambal oelek, coconut milk, garlic, and lime juice in a pan over medium heat. Stir well until creamy sauce.
  4. 4 Add the fried tofu to the sauce and stir well to coat all the cubes with the sauce.
