Ingredients

  • chicken breasts
  • 300 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • cloves of garlic, minced
  • onion, finely chopped
  • 200 ml cream
  • tablespoons olive oil
  •  salt and pepper to taste
  •  fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat
  2. 2 Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook in the pan until golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set aside
  3. 3 Add the onion and garlic to the same pan and sauté until soft
  4. 4 Add the mushrooms and cook until brown and soft. This will give the sauce extra flavor later on
  5. 5 Add the cream and stir well. Make sure to scrape up all the tasty bits from the bottom of the pan. This is the base of your sauce
  6. 6 Reduce the heat and add the chicken breasts back in. Let it simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has slightly thickened
  7. 7 Sprinkle the dish with the chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!
