Crispy Caesar Salad with Chicken and Homemade Croutons
This salad is a true delight and savory lunch choice for any day! We love the classic Caesar salad with chicken, but we make it extra special with homemade croutons. These croutons are easy to make and add a great crunchiness to the salad. And remember, homemade is always better!

4 chicken breasts

2 heads of lettuce

100 g Parmesan cheese

For the croutons: half a baguette, 2 tablespoons olive oil, pinch of salt

For the dressing: 2 egg yolks, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tablespoon mustard, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 100ml olive oil, pinch of salt and pepper

1. Start by preheating the oven to 180°C.

2. Cut the baguette into cubes and mix them in a bowl with the olive oil and a pinch of salt.

3. Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven until golden brown and crispy. This takes about 10-15 minutes.

4. While the croutons are in the oven, you can fry the chicken breasts in a skillet with a little oil. Cook them until they are cooked through and golden brown. Let the chicken rest before slicing it.

5. Now make the dressing by blending the egg yolks, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a blender until smooth.

6. Cut the lettuce, divide it among four plates, and add the sliced chicken, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.
