500 grams fresh strawberries

200 grams ladyfingers

250 grams mascarpone

Wash the strawberries and slice them.

Separate the eggs. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the mascarpone and vanilla extract to the egg yolk mixture. Mix well.

Whip the egg whites in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold this into the mascarpone mixture.

Place a layer of ladyfingers on the bottom of a dish. Top with a layer of the mascarpone mixture and then a layer of strawberries.
