Fresh Lemon Basil Sorbet
This is a light and delicious dessert that you can easily make without an ice cream maker. Perfect to serve after a heavy meal or just to enjoy on a warm summer day. No stress, it's super easy to make, I promise!
Ingredients

200 grams sugar

250 ml water

Juice and zest of 3 large lemons

A handful of fresh basil leaves

1. In a saucepan, mix water and sugar, heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.

2. Add the lemon juice and lemon zest and stir well.

3. Add the basil leaves and let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes.

4. Strain the mixture and let it cool completely. This will result in a clear sorbet.

5. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and place it in the freezer.

6. Stir with a fork every 30 minutes to prevent ice crystals and achieve a nice texture.
