Fresh Spring Pasta with Smoked Salmon and Dill

This delicious and fresh pasta is quick to make and full of flavor! The soft smoked salmon is perfectly combined with a hint of lemon and fresh dill. A perfect dish to celebrate spring!

Ingredients

  • 200 grams whole wheat spaghetti
  • 200 grams smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  •  Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • cloves of garlic, minced
  • 200 grams fresh peas (frozen works too)
  •  A handful of fresh dill, chopped
  •  Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package and add the peas in the last 3 minutes.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large pan and add the garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. 3 Add the lemon juice and zest to the pan and stir well.
  4. 4 Drain the spaghetti and peas and add them to the pan. Mix well so that all the spaghetti is coated with the lemon-oil mixture.
  5. 5 Add the smoked salmon and dill and gently mix, making sure the salmon does not fall apart. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. 6 Serve the pasta with an extra sprig of dill for presentation. Enjoy!
