Healthy Homemade Tomato Sauce
This delicious tomato sauce is one of my favorites, and I hope it becomes one of yours too! It is a healthy version of traditional tomato sauce, made with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and herbs. Perfect for pasta, lasagna, pizza, or even as a dip for raw vegetables. And you know what the best part is? It's super easy to make!
Ingredients

8 fresh tomatoes

2 cloves of garlic

1 onion

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of pepper

1 teaspoon of sugar

Handful of fresh basil
Instructions

Cut the tomatoes, garlic, and onion into small pieces.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the garlic and onion and cook until soft.

Add the tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar.

Let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes, stirring regularly.

Add the fresh basil at the end and mix well.

Let the sauce cool down and then puree it in a blender to the desired consistency. Voila, your homemade tomato sauce is ready!
