Italian Bruschetta with Fresh Tomatoes and Basil

2 cloves of garlic

Handful of fresh basil leaves

Toast the slices of ciabatta bread in a toaster or under the grill until golden brown. Let them cool for a bit.

Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes and 1 clove of garlic into small pieces. Tear the basil leaves into pieces.

In a bowl, mix the tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
