  • 200 grams of spaghetti

  • 50 grams of pine nuts
  • 50 grams of fresh basil
  • 50 grams of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 100 ml of olive oil
  •  Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a pinch of salt.
  2. 2 Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet until golden brown.
  4. 4 Peel the garlic and place it in a food processor or blender along with the pine nuts, basil, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil.

  6. 6 Drain the pasta but reserve a cup of the cooking water.
  7. 7 Mix the pesto into the pasta and add a little of the cooking water if needed to make it creamier.
