  • 500 g whole wheat flour
  • packet dry yeast (7g)
  • tsp salt
  • 325 ml warm water
  •  For the tomato sauce:
  • 400 g canned diced tomatoes
  • cloves of garlic, minced
  • tsp oregano
  • tsp basil
  •  For the topping:
  • red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 150 g mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 200 g shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. 1 Start by making the pizza dough. Mix the flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. 2 Slowly add the warm water and knead until smooth. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour in a warm place.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, make the tomato sauce. Sauté the garlic in a little olive oil. Add the diced tomatoes and herbs and let simmer for 20 minutes over low heat. Then puree the sauce with a hand blender until smooth.
  4. 4 Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
