Ingredients

  • large ripe tomatoes
  • cloves of garlic
  •  A bunch of fresh basil
  • baguette
  • tablespoons of olive oil
  •  Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2 Dice the tomatoes and garlic into small cubes and the basil into thinner strips. Mix all of this in a bowl.
  3. 3 Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir well.
  4. 4 Slice the baguette into slices about 2 cm thick.
  5. 5 Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until golden brown and crispy. This takes about 10 minutes.
