Ingredients

  • 300 grams whole wheat spaghetti
  • 500 grams lean ground beef
  • onions, finely chopped
  • carrots, peeled and diced
  • stalks of celery, diced
  • cloves of garlic, minced
  • can of diced tomatoes (400 grams)
  • tablespoon olive oil
  •  Salt and pepper to taste
  •  Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. 2 Add the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic and cook until the vegetables are soft. This takes about 5 minutes. Don't rush, take the time to cook your vegetables well, this adds extra flavor!
