1 large onion, finely chopped
2 carrots, diced
2 stalks of celery, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 zucchini, diced
400 grams canned tomatoes
1 liter vegetable broth
100 grams whole wheat pasta
200 grams canned cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
100 grams smoked ham, diced (optional)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
1Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
2Add the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic, and sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes.
