  • 400 g fresh spinach
  • 500 g ricotta cheese
  • eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  •  salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 lasagna sheets
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 700 ml marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2 Steam the spinach until it just starts to wilt, about 2 minutes. Let it cool and squeeze out the excess moisture.
  3. 3 In a bowl, mix the ricotta, eggs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooled spinach.
  4. 4 Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Layer with lasagna sheets, half of the ricotta-spinach mixture, a layer of marinara sauce, and a layer of mozzarella. Repeat the layers and finish with a layer of lasagna sheets, marinara sauce, and Parmesan cheese.
