Ingredients

  • 200 gr dark chocolate
  • eggs
  • 50 gr sugar
  • tsp vanilla extract
  •  Pinch of salt
  • 200 gr mixed red fruit (e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)

Instructions

  1. 1 Melt the chocolate au bain-marie and let it cool.
  2. 2 Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites stiff with a pinch of salt.
  3. 3 In another bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
  4. 4 Mix the cooled chocolate into the egg yolk mixture.
  5. 5 Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture. This will give it that delicious airy texture!
  6. 6 Divide the mousse into 4 glasses or bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. 7 Serve the mousse with the fresh red fruit. Enjoy!
