300 grams sushi rice
4 seaweed sheets (nori)
200 grams fresh salmon fillet
1 cucumber
1 avocado
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger for garnish

Instructions
1Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This is important to remove excess starch.
2Bring the rice to a boil with 330 ml of water. Let it simmer for 10 minutes until the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let the rice rest for 15 minutes with the lid on.
3Heat the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a saucepan until the sugar is dissolved. Mix this into the cooled rice.
4Slice the fresh salmon, cucumber, and avocado into thin strips.
5Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a layer of rice over it, leaving the edges free. Place some salmon, cucumber, and avocado on the rice.
6Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat. Cut the roll into pieces with a sharp knife.
7Serve the sushi with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. Enjoy your meal!
