1 large pumpkin
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 liter vegetable broth
125 grams bacon bits
200 ml cooking cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
1Cut the pumpkin into cubes. No need to stress, it doesn't have to be perfect!
2Finely chop the onion and garlic.
3Fry the bacon bits in a dry pan until crispy. Set them aside for now.
4Next, sauté the onion and garlic in the bacon fat. This adds extra flavor to the soup.
5Add the pumpkin cubes and sauté for a bit.
6Add the vegetable broth and let the soup cook for about 20 minutes.
7Puree the soup with an immersion blender until smooth. Add the cooking cream and stir well.
8Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with the crispy bacon bits and fresh parsley. Enjoy!
