  • large pumpkin
  • onion
  • cloves of garlic
  • liter vegetable broth
  • 125 grams bacon bits
  • 200 ml cooking cream
  •  Salt and pepper to taste
  •  Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1 Cut the pumpkin into cubes. No need to stress, it doesn't have to be perfect!
  2. 2 Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  3. 3 Fry the bacon bits in a dry pan until crispy. Set them aside for now.
  4. 4 Next, sauté the onion and garlic in the bacon fat. This adds extra flavor to the soup.

  6. 6 Add the vegetable broth and let the soup cook for about 20 minutes.
  7. 7 Puree the soup with an immersion blender until smooth. Add the cooking cream and stir well.
