200 g whole wheat spaghetti
2 ripe avocados
2 cloves of garlic
juice of half a lemon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
handful of fresh basil leaves (optional)
Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions
1Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package.
2While the spaghetti is cooking, make the avocado sauce. Put the avocados, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a blender or food processor. Mix until creamy.
3Drain the pasta and reserve a cup of the cooking water.
4Add the avocado sauce to the pasta and mix well. If the pasta is too dry, add a little of the reserved cooking water.
5Garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
