Ingredients

  • 200 g whole wheat spaghetti
  • ripe avocados
  • cloves of garlic
  •  juice of half a lemon
  • tablespoons of olive oil
  •  salt and pepper to taste
  •  handful of fresh basil leaves (optional)
  •  Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1 Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package.
  2. 2 While the spaghetti is cooking, make the avocado sauce. Put the avocados, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a blender or food processor. Mix until creamy.
  3. 3 Drain the pasta and reserve a cup of the cooking water.
  4. 4 Add the avocado sauce to the pasta and mix well. If the pasta is too dry, add a little of the reserved cooking water.
  5. 5 Garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
