  • 300 grams sushi rice
  • nori sheets
  • 200 grams fresh salmon
  • avocado
  • cucumber
  •  Soy sauce, for serving
  •  Wasabi, for serving
  • tablespoon rice vinegar
  • teaspoon sugar
  •  A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1 Rinse the sushi rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. This will prevent the rice from becoming too sticky.
  2. 2 Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package. Add the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt after the rice is cooked and let it cool.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, slice the salmon, avocado, and cucumber into thin strips.
  4. 4 Place a nori sheet on a sushi mat and spread a layer of rice evenly over the sheet. Leave about 1 cm at the top.
  5. 5 Place the cut ingredients in the middle of the rice.
  6. 6 Roll the sushi tightly using the sushi mat.
  7. 7 Slice the roll into small pieces with a sharp knife.
  8. 8 Repeat this process with the remaining nori sheets and ingredients.
  9. 9 Serve the sushi with soy sauce and wasabi. Delicious for lunch!
