Ingredients

  • cans of chickpeas
  • red bell pepper
  • red onion
  • cloves of garlic
  • red chili pepper
  • tablespoons of olive oil
  • teaspoon of cumin
  • teaspoon of paprika powder
  •  salt to taste
  •  pepper to taste
  •  handful of fresh coriander
  •  juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. 1 Drain the chickpeas and rinse them under cold water.
  2. 2 Finely chop the bell pepper, onion, garlic, and red chili pepper.
  3. 3 Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the garlic and red chili pepper.
  4. 4 After a minute, add the onion, bell pepper, and chickpeas. Cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat.
  5. 5 Add the cumin, paprika powder, salt, and pepper and stir well.
  6. 6 Remove the pan from the heat and add the lime juice.
  7. 7 Garnish the salad with the fresh coriander and serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
