  • medium sweet potatoes
  • cup green lentils
  • large onion
  • cloves of garlic
  • bouillon cube
  • teaspoons paprika
  • teaspoon turmeric
  • teaspoon cumin
  •  Salt and pepper to taste
  • tablespoons olive oil
  •  Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1 Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into cubes.
  2. 2 Thoroughly rinse the lentils under cold water.
  3. 3 Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  4. 4 Heat the olive oil in a large pan and sauté the onion and garlic.
  5. 5 Add the sweet potatoes, lentils, bouillon cube, paprika, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  6. 6 Pour water into the pan until everything is just covered and bring to a boil.
