Hearty Kale Mash with Smoked Sausage

Ingredients

  • kg floury potatoes
  • 600 g sliced kale
  • smoked sausage
  • 200 ml milk
  • 50 g unsalted butter
  •  salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Peel the potatoes and cut them into equal pieces. Cook them in a large pan with enough water and salt for about 20 minutes until tender.
  2. 2 Add the kale to the pan for the last 10 minutes.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, heat the smoked sausage according to the instructions on the packaging.
  4. 4 Drain the potatoes and kale and mash them with a masher into a creamy mash. Add the warm milk and butter and stir well. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. 5 Serve the mash with the smoked sausage on top. Enjoy your meal!
