350 grams whole wheat spaghetti
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 red chili pepper, diced
2 cans of peeled tomatoes
100 grams black olives, pitted
2 tablespoons capers
1 bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
4 anchovy fillets, chopped (optional)
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1Cook the whole wheat spaghetti according to the instructions on the package. Tip: Add a pinch of salt to the boiling water for extra flavor!
2Meanwhile, heat some olive oil in a large pan and add the garlic and red chili pepper. Let this cook for a few minutes over medium heat.
3Add the peeled tomatoes, olives, capers, and anchovies (if using) to the pan. Let this simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
4Drain the spaghetti and add it to the pan. Mix well so that the spaghetti is fully coated with the sauce.
5Season with salt and pepper and garnish with the fresh parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
