  • 300 g sushi rice
  • 360 ml water
  • nori seaweed sheets
  • 200 g fresh salmon
  • cucumber
  • avocado
  •  Soy sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. 1 Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2 Put the rice in a pan with the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. 3 Remove from heat and let rest for another 15 minutes with the lid on the pan.
  4. 4 Meanwhile, slice the salmon, cucumber, and avocado into thin strips.
  5. 5 Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat and spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a small space at the top.
  6. 6 In the middle of the rice, place the strips of salmon, cucumber, and avocado.
  7. 7 Roll the sushi tightly with the help of the sushi mat. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  8. 8 Cut the sushi rolls into pieces with a sharp knife and serve with soy sauce.
